The Canadian International Air Show at Toronto’s Canadian National Exhibition is usually a huge crowd draw, and the entire city can feel the jet engines as they roar over the waterfront. But this year, the show will be a little smaller than normal.
The Blue Angels — a famous aerial acrobatic team from the United States — are among the U.S. acts not coming this year.
The Snowbirds, the Harrier and the historic demonstrations of WWI-era aircraft will be sure-fire crowd pleasers. But the loud boom of the American aircraft will not echo over Toronto streets this year.
